The Aerial Forces of Meriad (AFM), formally His Majesty of Meriad's Aerial Forces, is the air force of Meriad. It was established as a separate arm of the Armed Forces of Meriad on June 16th, 1928. The AFM's peacetime establishment is approximately 1,280 employees (officers, enlisted staff and civilians). 700 personnel also serve their draft period in the RNoAF. After mobilization the RNoAF would consist of approximately 5,100 personnel.

The infrastructure of the AFM includes seven airbases (at Eyjanfjalla, Gröstavik, Járnfjördur, Sköntafell, Húsavik, Súdurfjördur, and Igansträggen) and two training centers (at Gröstavik and Sköntafell).
